Air Waybill Parser

Upload a master or house Air Waybill and turn its routing, parties, handling and nature-and-quantity table into structured data. Every field remains editable before export.

GainingDocx distinguishes explicitly labelled MAWB and HAWB references, validates the printed modulus-7 AWB check digit, and keeps gross and chargeable weight separate for invoice and packing-list review.

What gets extracted

  • AWB, MAWB and HAWB numbers with airline prefix
  • Shipper, consignee and issuing carrier agent
  • Origin and destination airports, flight and issue details
  • Pieces, gross weight, chargeable weight and cargo description
  • Rate class, charge, declared values, handling and prepaid/collect totals

Deterministic checks

Computed in code — the AI never does the math.

  • IATA-style 3-digit prefix, 7-digit serial and modulus-7 check digit
  • Printed total pieces and weights retained separately from line evidence
  • Explicit master-versus-house classification without number-format guessing
  • Editable review followed by XLSX, CSV, JSON or PDF export

How it works

  1. 1Upload or photograph the document — pages are compressed on your device.
  2. 2Review the extracted fields; deterministic checks flag anything suspicious.
  3. 3Export to Excel, CSV or JSON, or generate the counterpart document.

Frequently asked questions

Does it parse both MAWB and HAWB documents?

Yes. It records master and house references when they are explicitly printed and otherwise marks the level unknown for human review.

Does a valid check digit prove the shipment is genuine?

No. It validates the number's arithmetic structure only; airline acceptance and shipment status require carrier confirmation.
